Home made

Yesterday, for the first time, I made some Omega seed mix. (Pumpkin, sunflower, poppy, linseed and sesame seeds, baked with soya sauce.) and Oat cakes (Oatmeal, oil, salt, bicarb and water.)

Everyday I make bread, and most days I make cakes or biscuits. I make curries from scratch, and nut roasts. We also make Wine and Beer. And towards the end of the summer I get into Jam and Chutney making mode.

I plan to make cheese soon, but might give yoghurt and butter a go first. My parents have a butter maker - a little tumbler, I asked them if I can borrow it (but it's at the back of the cupboard) I must remind them next time I am round their to see if they have found it yet.

What other things are easy to make?

Ohhhh, good luck with the butter making; I bet that is really fun.

You make so much stuff; you must really have a good weekly routine going to get through all of that. It's very inspiring.

Well, I have got what I
thought was a butter maker from Mums and it has labelled on it 'cream maker' I am not sure how it would make cream. I might have to do a bit of research! It's called an Empire cream maker! I'll take a pic and post it above.

I am always busy, it may seem like a good thing, but it drives my family mad. My problem is that I can't relax, or I find it very difficult to relax! I am always on the go, doing lots of things at the same time. I even find it very hard to watch TV, I get all irritted that I could be doing something else! So I have lists in my head, and on paper of all the things that I want ot do in a day, not everythign gets done, but I do prioritise.

Oh! a cream maker; I'm guessing it's the same thing but you just keep going for longer to make the butter LOL!

Oh goodness, don't talk to me about lists. I have lists about the lists of things I should be doing.

I still rest though; every afternoon i go to bed for an hour or I burn out. It sounds like you are super productive.
